This scholarship was established in memory of Arthur “Jack” Marbury, a devoted MIGHTY MARCHING HORNET. Jack was a father and grandfather to two MIGHTY MARCHING HORNETS. His unwavering support, encouragement, and love for music inspired countless students over 5 decades. Jack embodied the true spirit of community and dedication. His legacy lives on through this scholarship, awarded to students who demonstrate passion, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence in music who are also dedicated to the MIGHTY MARCHING HORNETS. This award is open to college students who are music majors and current members of the Alabama State University Mighty Marching Hornets Band. Donors giving to this scholarship will receive a tax donation letter at the end of the year.
