Arthur David Beavers, Jr. & Gloria S. Beavers Legacy Scholarship

This scholarship is to honor Arthur David Beavers Jr. and Gloria S. Beavers whose vision, commitment to education, and personal sacrifice enabled seven of their children to attend college. In addition, Arthur David Beavers Jr. was a community activist who worked diligently to solve problems and enhance the lives of others.  This scholarship is open to a Metro Atlanta high school male or female student leader who plans to attend college. The student must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 with a demonstrated financial need. The student must also exhibit a strong commitment to community service.  Donors giving to this scholarship will receive a tax donation letter at the end of the year.
